Forza Horizon 5 - Clips - Brain Fade

Was coming out of Ghost after making a mistake. Trying to stay left and out of the way but didn't notice the poor bugger at my left who subsequently got pushed outside the checkpoint :( Teachable lesson for which side to overtake on coming up to a checkpoint.

Same player as the "oops!" clip above but a different situation! I think this time they out braked themselves. There's a bug in the game that hides the racing/braking line through ghosts which makes missing your braking point much easier. I think they might have been ghosted into the braking zone.

Should be noted I didn't use headphones back then so the first I'll have known of those players beside me was when I saw their nose and the player behind, because of the previous issue I probably would have known they where there as I'd look out for them.

Man I really did o0EFFECT0o dirty here. Misjudged the speed and the little last minute jink to the right really hurt!

The Horizon Superstars in this Trial clip all, ALL, ALL OF THEM forgot brakes fucking exist!

Trying to disguise my usual fast line and take the normal(er) racing line. Stayed right deliberately looking to see if I can reshape this turn. No idea why I have two clips of the same event!

Wonder what happened here! Controller died? Terminal stick drift?

There's something about this corner and heavy braking that causes some pretty spectacular accidents. One time, before I was recording I think, I badly misjudged ghost ending myself and smeared some unfortunate all along that wall! I've taken to shouting "Look Out!" just before ghost ends - partly as a reminder to myself about this corner.

I think this was two horizon superstars getting annoyed at me "pushing" them. Sadly I was the yellow Peugeot filling in this Superstar sandwich.

Oooft! Bad hit on II Anointed II , took the place too! Dirty Bois level racing there!

Selfish place to put a door step imo.

So this is an example of where I'm pretty bad at racing. Whenever I've got someone ahead who's a bit early on the braking, I always end up shoving my nose up their arse. Nobody enjoys this! Not me, not them. I'm currently working on ways to avoid this which boils down to braking earlier and getting out the corner quicker.

So this is ALL on ZojkoBG. It's the height of stupidity to pull in front of someone then brake sharply. It doesn't matter two shits if there's a braking zone in front of you, stay in your lane and you won't get a violent anal cavity search like this!

Honestly, I'm not laughing at LLIopoxTbMbI for this. Done it myself many many times! It's just when it's you, you know this is going to happen so early that the whole thing is quite funny.

Took a few plays to work out what was going on here. Our victim is never on screen. I think they're along side me a bit and when I have to drive to the left of the road because of Neptunes869 it pushes our victim, XSW 4002 into the buildings at the left of the road. Not sure blame can be attributed to anyone here.

Not satisfied with doing it once, I did it a second time!

This corner is an endless source of player madness!

Man that was a bruising few corners for them. As they came back onto the road from the RHS I kept the boot in expecting ghost to save us. Didn't happen, instead I performed a violent and uncalled for rectal exam.

The Riviera Sprint corner again! The combination of high speed, heavy braking, long corner and end of ghost (in A Class) is a recipie for fun and games!

So I get this player is trying to help the team. They're a lap down an they've zero chance of catching up so their only real option to help is to block the leading drivatars for everyone behind those drivatars. But holy fuck their execution was bad. I was fine with them sitting right in the middle of the fucking road. I was going to their left then they decided to move that way! Idiot, I switch to the right and wham! Right into the arse of a Drivatar. Good job!

I must have been a bit annoyed with that dude ahead... and then i made a cunt of myself! :)

I sometimes make these clips to send to players to apologise. Here is an example.

Just watching it and I'm like, wtf are you apologising for? I mean they should have known I was at their side so why are they trying to cover the checkpoint. 

So nearly Kudos My Dudes with this one. I have to say, this is one of my favourite corner complexes in the entire game. It can be hero to zero in the turn of a wheel but when it goes right it's very rewarding. Just got unlucky here with how it all came together.

Those pesky decorative railings again. That corner is such a bastard. You can cut it but too much looks like it's straight to a bridge pylon, too little and it's off the other side of the bridge. I like to think the poor bugger here was watching me instead of the upcoming corner and simply misjudged. Easy EASY mistake to make.

We've had one from this tree before! Can't say I've ever been out that far so this isn't one I've experienced. Doesn't look like a fun place to be.

We're all legends in our own lunchtime, 2 minutes on this page should tell you that's true for me anyway, however I think some of us feel so put upon that all "unexpected" contact is someone elses fault. Here we have me alongside for a good hour and a half, fukko here turns in to me and I have to "Look out!" because in his book he was taking his normal line and someone tried to barge their way past! It's kinda mad how our own perspective can be so easilly warped - especially in the heat of the moment. I try to be aware of that but it's not always easy.

I remember actually getting quite annoyed by this. The other dude was weaving all over the fucking place and I had massive closing speed. I was gonna try for ghost but thought I might not get it and at the last moment changed my mind. When I tried to steer round, the rear got light and I lost control.

I still blame it 100% on the fucking dipshit dawdling right down the middle of the road weaving!

Man this is brutal! Nobody was guilty of shittyness here but DruggedUpDonkey paid an insanely heavy price!

Look out! Corner claims more victims - sadly not the spectacular variety!

So in an earlier clip I raged against some stupid decision on which side to pass on an other player made. I made pretty much the same choice here. This was really tight on their RHS and they closed that door some more making it very very tight. May have been better going the other side. That said it looks like NAFTA420 may have found themselves drifting left had I been on their left.

However either way they got absolutely mauled by the pack just behind me. It should be no surprise they rage quit after that mugging!

So I don't really blame anyone for this, it's what I'd call a racing incident. Nobody tried to fuck me up, it just happened that way due to circumstance. The bit that I find amusing though is one of them had me right across their front bumper sideways and there wasn't a hint of a lift. Been there myself :) The entire time your shouting at the other car to get the fuck out of your way! :)

This is, by a country mile, my worst habit and something I really need to work on. My excuse is I always tune my brakes which allows me to brake much later. Thems that don't brake so early it catches me out sometimes.

I think me AND the bone shaker both pumped Razor2669 up the ring! :(

So this was a very rare Street Scene race for the Trial. Talk on Forza Horizon Reddit sub was to move over to the oncoming lane to avoid the batshit fucking mental drivatars not seeing NPC traffic and causing massive pileups.

It didn't work so well.

I mean this guy... wtf!?! it's not like my car is camoflaged. It's loud as fuck! You couldn't edge just a bit to the right - you know, on the actual tarmac. What am I saying, this is on me... I made the mistake. FFS!

Was all going swimingly with some bumper to bumper racing, concentrating hard then... BANG!

When you're so used to complaining about being hit by other players, after a while you complain about ALL hits.

Yeah not gonna lie. This is bad.

Trying to hold up the Drivatars for a safer score (we where already winning) fucked up on the very last few meters and fluffed it for the entire team!

Still, in my defence I'm trying to place them by sound alone and there's a whole fucking posse of them behind me!
